More Elvis Sightings!

Some were unique, some mundane and some were funny. I picked the ones that struck me to post here. Places Elvis was seen: .Driving a cab. .Walking the Strip in Vegas .On TV pretending to be an impersonator, pretending to be him. .A bartender who sort of looks like Elvis .Doing autographs in a State Fairwas doing autographs and taking pics. .At the North Pole with Santa. .In a buffet line in Glorietta, shoving food on a plate .Running a fish and chips shop in Cleckheaton (Is this in England – Wow he gets around.) .Flying from New Orleans to Cincinnati. .And flying over Memphis, serenading Princess Di on the wing of an airplane. An Elvis Sighting
Written by lionmom on November 3, 2008 – 3:31 am -Yes, I had an Elvis sighting! Sometime last February I traveled to Florida on vacation. Both ways on the flight, we passed through Memphis. Unfortunately, we did not get to spend any time there, other than to browse the shops in the airport. And a rather nice airport it was. The shops had a heavy emphasis on music, rock and roll, and country music. A restarant we had breakfast in had all kinds of music memorabilia, and gold records from various artists. Leaving the restaurant and on the way to finding a newspaper stand — There it was – Elvis in a store window! The invisible ghost of Elvis had one of the most decked out costumes you can imagine — lots of glitz – guitar in hand (uh whisp) — music... more
